|1||Fresh pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into bite sized pieces|
|1||(700)grams Smoked Ham, cut into bite sized pieces|
|1||Large red pepper, cut into bite sized pieces|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Cubed Haloumi cheese (optional)|
|.5 cup||(125 mL) Sweet Thai chili sauce|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) Teriyaki sauce|
PREHEAT BBQ to medium-high. Lightly coat the grill with non-stick cooking spray.
THREAD pineapple, ham, red pepper and cheese if using, alternating, onto wooden skewers.
MIX the Thai chili sauce with teriyaki sauce.
PLACE skewers on the hot grill and brush lightly with sauce. Cook for 6-7 minutes, turning and brushing occasionally with sauce. Cook until nice grill marks appear and ham is heated through.
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning
